Profile Settings
Update your profile picture, name, and contact information.
Your profile information determines how you appear to others in V.connct. Keep it updated so colleagues can easily identify you.
Accessing Profile Settings
Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar
Select Account
You'll see your profile information displayed
Editing Your Profile
On the Account page, click Edit to enter edit mode
Make your changes to the editable fields
Click Save to apply changes, or Reset to discard
Profile Fields
Profile Picture
Your profile picture appears in the sidebar, participant lists, and anywhere your user information is displayed.
To change your picture:
- Click on your current picture or the upload area
- Select an image file from your device
- Save your changes
Requirements:
- Image files only (JPG, PNG, etc.)
- Keep file size reasonable for quick loading
If you don't set a profile picture, your initials will be displayed in a colored circle.
First Name
Your first name as displayed to others.
Requirements:
- 2-20 characters
- Spaces are trimmed
Last Name
Your last name as displayed to others.
Requirements:
- 2-20 characters
- Spaces are trimmed
Email Address
Your email address is shown but cannot be changed from the account page. This is the email associated with your login.
Need to change your email?
Email changes may require administrator assistance or account migration. Contact your organization's admin or support.
Phone Number
Phone number for your profile.
Requirements:
- 7-20 digits
- Can include international prefix (+)
Address/Location
Optional location information.
Requirements:
- Maximum 100 characters
- Optional field
Changing Your Password
Password changes are handled through a secure popup for additional security.
On the Account page, find the Security section
Click Change Password
A secure popup window opens
Follow the prompts to update your password
The password change process is handled through our secure authentication system, which may open in a separate window.
Validation Messages
When editing, you may see validation messages:
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| "First name must be 2-20 characters" | Name is too short or too long |
| "Phone number must be 7-20 digits" | Invalid phone format |
| "Address must be under 100 characters" | Address is too long |
Fix any validation errors before saving.
Tips
Use a recognizable photo: A clear headshot helps colleagues identify you quickly in meetings.
Keep information current: Update your name if it changes (e.g., after marriage).
Check how you appear: After saving, verify your changes appear correctly in the sidebar and meeting interfaces.
Account Deletion
Account deletion is coming soon
The ability to delete your own account is planned but not yet available. Contact your organization admin if you need your account removed.
