Upgrading Your Plan

Navigate to Plan Builder

Go to Admin Panel → Billing & Plans → Modify Plan

The Plan Builder opens with your current subscription pre-selected.

Select New Plan

Click on the plan you want to upgrade to. For example, if you're on Pro, click Business.

The plan card expands to show configuration options.

Review Changes

The right sidebar shows:

Current plan details
New plan details
Prorated charge due today
New recurring amount

Confirm Upgrade

Click Confirm Upgrade to apply changes immediately.

Adding Licenses Mid-Cycle

Example: You have 5 Pro licenses on Day 15 of a 30-day cycle and want to add 2 more.

Current: 5 licenses × $9.99/month = $49.95/month
New: 7 licenses × $9.99/month = $69.93/month

Additional: 2 licenses
Prorated: 2 × $9.99 × (15 days ÷ 30 days) = $9.99

Charged today: $9.99
Next full bill: $69.93

Immediate access: New licenses are available instantly after the prorated charge is processed. You don't have to wait until the next billing cycle.

Switching to Annual Billing

Switching from monthly to annual billing:

Takes effect immediately
You receive a prorated credit for unused time on your monthly plan
You're charged the annual amount minus the credit
Your billing cycle resets to start from today

Proration Examples

Upgrading Pro to Business on Day 22 of a 30-day cycle (5 licenses):

Pro cost: 5 × $9.99 = $49.95/month
Business cost: 5 × $14.99 = $74.95/month
Difference: $25.00/month
Days remaining: 8
Days in cycle: 30
Prorated charge: $25.00 × (8 ÷ 30) = $6.67
