Assets

Upload, create, and manage your files and content in the Hub.

The Hub stores various types of assets that you create or upload. Understanding asset types and how to manage them helps you stay organized and find content quickly.


Asset Types

The Hub supports several asset types, each with unique properties and uses.

Each asset type has its own icon for easy identification in the Hub.


Creating New Assets

Create documents and whiteboards directly in the Hub.

Click the New button in the toolbar

Select Document or Whiteboard

Enter a name for your asset

Optionally add a description and tags

Click Create to open the editor

Creating from Templates

Use templates to start with pre-built content:

  1. Click NewFrom Template
  2. Browse or search available templates
  3. Select a template and click Use Template
  4. Customize the content as needed

Uploading Files

Add files from your computer to the Hub.

Click the Upload button in the toolbar

Select files from your computer, or drag and drop files into the upload zone

Choose the asset type for each file (if applicable)

Add metadata (name, description, tags)

Click Upload to start the transfer

Drag and Drop

You can also drag files directly into any folder view:

  • Drag files from your desktop or file explorer
  • Drop them into the Hub window
  • The upload dialog opens automatically

Supported file types

The Hub accepts common file formats including:

  • Video: MP4, WebM, MOV
  • Documents: PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD
  • Images: PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG
  • Other: JSON, CSV, XLSX

Maximum file size depends on your plan limits.


Asset Metadata

Each asset has metadata that helps with organization and search.

Editing Metadata

  1. Right-click an asset and select Properties, or
  2. Open the asset preview and click Edit Details

Metadata Fields

Viewing Asset Details

Click any asset to open the preview modal with full details.

Preview Modal Features

  • Full preview — View the asset content
  • Metadata — See all asset information
  • Activity — View creation and modification history
  • Sharing — See who has access
  • Actions — Download, move, delete, and more

Quick Preview

Hold Spacebar while hovering over an asset for a quick preview without opening the full modal.


Downloading Assets

Save assets to your device for offline access.

From Context Menu

  1. Right-click the asset
  2. Select Download
  3. Choose download location (if prompted)

From Preview Modal

  1. Click the asset to open preview
  2. Click the Download button
  3. For recordings, choose format and quality options

Bulk Download

Select multiple assets using checkboxes, then click the Download button in the bulk actions toolbar.

Large files may take time to prepare for download. You'll see a progress indicator during preparation.


Moving Assets

Organize assets by moving them between folders.

Right-click the asset and select Move

Browse or search for the destination folder

Select the folder

Click Move to confirm

Drag and Drop Moving

Drag assets directly to a folder in the sidebar or folder view to move them.

Moving Multiple Assets

  1. Select multiple assets using checkboxes
  2. Use the bulk actions menu to select Move
  3. Choose the destination folder

Starring Assets

Star important assets for quick access.

How to Star

  • Right-click an asset and select Star, or
  • Click the star icon on the asset card, or
  • Open preview and click the star icon

Accessing Starred Assets

  1. Click Starred in the sidebar navigation
  2. View all your starred assets in one place
  3. Sort and filter as needed

Starring is personal — other users cannot see which assets you have starred.


Pinning Assets

Pin assets to keep them at the top of a folder.

How to Pin

  1. Right-click the asset
  2. Select Pin to Top

Pinned assets appear first in the folder, regardless of sort order.

Unpinning

Right-click a pinned asset and select Unpin to return it to normal sorting.

Pinning is folder-specific. An asset can be pinned in one folder and appear normally in another (if it exists in multiple locations via shortcuts).
