Storage is pooled. All storage is shared across your organization.
What Counts Toward Storage

Extra Cloud Storage Add-on
Add more storage beyond your included allocation.

Monthly billing only. Storage add-ons are always billed monthly, regardless of your base plan's billing cycle. This is because storage provider costs fluctuate.
When to Add Storage
Consider an add-on if:
- You regularly approach or exceed your limit
- Overage charges are becoming significant
- You want predictable billing
- You need the lower overage rate of higher tiers
Storage Limits & Warnings
The system provides progressive warnings as you approach your limit:

| 95% | Critical | Modal on login, urgent email |
| 100% | Limit reached | Grace period, then recording stops |
When You Hit the Limit
Before a meeting:
- Warning that recording may not work
- Meeting can still start (recording is optional)
During a meeting:
- Recording continues with a grace period
- Host sees an urgent notification
- Partial recording is saved
After the grace period:
- Recording stopped automatically
- Admin receives email notification
To continue using cloud recording, delete/download existing recordings or add an Extra Storage add-on.
Overage Rates
If you exceed your storage limit, overage charges apply:

Lower rates with higher tiers. Adding a storage add-on can significantly reduce your overage costs.
How Storage is Billed
Storage billing uses high-water mark calculation:
Billing = MAX(daily_storage_snapshots) during cycleThis means temporary spikes count. If you briefly go over, then delete recordings, you're still billed for the peak.
Managing Your Storage
Viewing usage: Check Admin Panel → Usage & Analytics to see storage breakdown.
Freeing up space:
- Go to Recordings
- Select recordings to delete (or use bulk select)
- Click Delete
Deletion is permanent. Download copies before deleting.
Storage cleanup tips:
- Delete old recordings (6-12+ months)
- Download and delete — archive locally
- Disable auto-record — only record when necessary
Removing a Storage Add-on
If you remove a storage add-on while over your new limit:
Action required before removal takes effect. Delete or download recordings to get under the new limit, or keep the add-on. If you take no action, recording will be blocked.
