Calendar
Use the calendar view to visualize and organize your meeting schedule.
The Calendar provides a visual way to see your meetings, schedule new ones, and manage your time. It's an alternative to the list-based Meetings page.

Calendar Settings
Customize your calendar display to match your work schedule.
Accessing Settings
Click the Settings accordion in the calendar sidebar to expand configuration options.
Visible Hours
Control which hours are displayed in Day and Week views:
- From — The earliest hour shown (default: 7 AM)
- To — The latest hour shown (default: 6 PM)
This hides early morning and late evening hours if you don't typically have meetings then, making your calendar less cluttered.
Meetings outside visible hours still exist
Limiting visible hours is just a display preference. Meetings scheduled outside these hours still appear in Agenda view and the Meetings list.
Working Hours
Define your working schedule for each day of the week:
| Day | Default Hours |
|---|---|
| Sunday | Closed |
| Monday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM |
| Tuesday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM |
| Wednesday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM |
| Thursday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM |
| Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM |
| Saturday | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM |
To configure working hours:
Open Settings in the calendar sidebar
Find Working Hours section
Toggle days on/off using the switches
Set From and To times for each working day
Click Apply to save
Working hours help you see at a glance when you're available vs outside your normal schedule.

Conflict Detection
When you drag a meeting to a time that conflicts with another meeting:
- A warning dialog appears showing the conflict
- You can see which meeting(s) overlap
- Choose to proceed anyway or cancel the move
Conflicts are non-blocking (with one exception)
V.connct allows overlapping meetings — you might have meetings running in parallel. The conflict warning is informational and you can proceed if intended.
Exception: Room conflicts ARE blocking. Only one meeting can run at a time in a given room. If you try to schedule overlapping meetings in the same room, the system will prevent it.
What Can Be Dragged
| Meeting Type | Can Drag? |
|---|---|
| Scheduled (you're host) | Yes |
| Scheduled (you're Co-Host) | No |
| Scheduled (you're invitee) | No |
| In Progress | No |
| Ended | No |
| Cancelled | No |
Only the meeting host can reschedule via drag-and-drop. Co-Hosts cannot drag meetings.

Tips for Using the Calendar
Plan your week: Use Week view at the start of each week to see what's coming up and identify free slots for new meetings.
Find free time: Look for gaps in your schedule when planning new meetings. The visual layout makes it easy to spot availability.
Quick rescheduling: Drag and drop is faster than opening the edit form when you just need to move a meeting.
Check before scheduling: Click on a time slot to see if you have conflicts before creating a new meeting.
