Joining Meetings
All the ways to join a V.connct meeting — via link, ID, or invitation.

Join Methods
The most common way to join — click the meeting link shared with you.

Meeting links look like: https://meet.vconnct.me/xxx-xxxx-xxxx

Before You Join
Pre-Join Screen
Before entering a meeting, you'll see a pre-join screen where you can:
- Preview your video — See how you look before joining
- Select your camera — Choose which camera to use
- Select your microphone — Choose your audio input
- Select your speaker — Choose your audio output
- Mute/unmute — Start with your mic on or off
- Turn video on/off — Start with your camera on or off
Take a moment to check your settings. It's better to join with the right audio/video configuration than to fix it during the meeting.
Meeting Password
Some meetings require a password for security. If prompted:
- Enter the password exactly as provided (case-sensitive)
- The password is usually included in the invitation email
- If you don't have the password, contact the meeting host
Waiting Room
If the host has enabled a waiting room:
- After joining, you'll be placed in a waiting area
- The host will see a notification that you're waiting
- Once the host admits you, you'll enter the meeting
Joining as Different Roles
As an Invitee
When you're invited to someone else's meeting:
- You'll see the meeting in your dashboard if you're logged in
- You can join when the meeting is active (in progress)
- You may be able to join before the host if that setting is enabled
As a Host
When joining your own meeting:
- The meeting starts when you join
- You have full control from the moment you enter
- Others may be waiting in the waiting room for you
As a Guest
If you're not logged in or don't have an account:
- You can still join via the meeting link
- You may be asked to enter your name
- Some meetings may require authentication (no guest access)
