Meeting Templates

Save and reuse shared meeting configurations across your organization.

Meeting templates reduce repeated setup by saving a meeting configuration for later use. Templates are shared across the organization rather than kept as a private personal list.

What a Template Includes

A template can save values from the unified meeting dialog, including:

  • Meeting details such as title, duration, and room
  • Selected participants and external invitees
  • Meeting settings

The save dialog displays a summary of the values that will be stored before you confirm.

A template never stores the meeting date or start time. Applying one leaves the date and time already selected in the form unchanged.

Apply a Template

Open the create or edit meeting dialog.

In Details, select a template card.

Review the populated values in Details, Participants, and Settings.

Create the meeting or save your changes when the configuration is correct.

While a template is selected, a banner remains visible above the tabs so you can identify it from Details, Participants, or Settings. Selecting the template name in the banner returns you to Details.

Deselect a Template

A selected template is deselected when you:

  • Select its card again
  • Close the applied-template banner
  • Edit a value populated by the template

Deselecting removes the association and highlight; it does not undo the values already copied into the form.

Save a Template

Select Save current as template, provide a name and optional description, and review the save summary before confirming. Each organization can store up to 40 templates. At the limit, delete an unused template before saving another.

Template Management Permissions

Template cards are shared with the organization. A template's creator or an organization admin can delete it. Other members can apply shared templates without gaining management permission. To change a saved setup, apply it, adjust the meeting form, and save a new template with a different name.

Schedule each occurrence separately, applying your template to reuse its settings.
