Polls
Create and participate in live polls during meetings.
Polls let you gather real-time feedback from participants during a meeting. They're useful for quick decisions, gathering opinions, or checking understanding.

Poll Options
When creating a poll, you can configure:

| Options | 2-10 answer choices |
| Multiple Selection | Allow selecting multiple answers |
| Anonymous | Hide voter identities in results |
Voting
When a poll is active:
- A notification appears for all participants
- Click to open the poll
- Select your answer(s)
- Click Submit Vote
You can change your vote while the poll is open (before it's closed).
Anonymous polls: If the poll is anonymous, no one — not even the Host — can see who voted for what. Only totals are shown.
Viewing Results
During the Poll
While voting is open:
- Hosts and Co-Hosts can see real-time results
- Participants see their submitted vote (not others' votes)
- Vote counts update live
After Closing
When the poll is closed:
- Results are shown to everyone
- Bar charts display vote distribution
- Percentages show for each option
Closing a Poll
Only the Host or Co-Host can close a poll:
- Open the Polls tab
- Find the active poll
- Click Close Poll
Once closed:
- No more votes are accepted
- Final results are displayed to all participants
- The poll cannot be reopened
Poll History
Polls remain visible in the Polls tab after closing. Participants can review:
- All poll questions from the meeting
- Results for each poll
- Their own votes (for non-anonymous polls)
Use Cases
Quick decisions: "Should we take a 10-minute break?"
Gauging understanding: "Rate your understanding of this topic (1-5)"
Gathering preferences: "Which date works best for the next meeting?"
Anonymous feedback: "How would you rate this presentation?"
Icebreakers: "What's your favorite season?"
Tips for Effective Polls
Keep questions clear: One question per poll, straightforward wording.
Limit options: 3-5 options is usually ideal. Too many can be overwhelming.
Give time to respond: Wait for vote counts to stabilize before closing.
Use anonymous for sensitive topics: People are more honest when their vote is private.
Share results: Discuss the results after closing for engagement.
