Chat

Send messages to everyone or privately to specific participants.

The chat feature lets you communicate via text during the meeting without interrupting the speaker. You can send messages to everyone or privately to specific participants.

Opening Chat

Click the Chat button in the bottom toolbar to open the chat panel. The panel appears on the side of the meeting screen.

Sending Messages

Public Messages

Send a message to everyone in the meeting:

Open the chat panel

Make sure "Everyone" is selected as the recipient

Type your message in the input field

Press Enter or click Send

All participants will see your message in the chat panel.

Private Messages

Send a message to a specific participant:

Open the chat panel

Click the recipient selector (shows "Everyone" by default)

Select a specific participant

Type and send your message

Only you and the recipient will see the private message.

Private messages are indicated with a "Private" or "Direct" label so you know they're not visible to everyone.
