Media Player
Play videos and media content for all meeting participants.
The media player lets you share video content with all meeting participants. Unlike screen sharing, the media player provides synchronized playback that everyone experiences together.
Who Can Control the Media Player

Starting Media Playback
Click the Media Player button in the meeting toolbar (or access from the Share menu)
Enter the URL of the video you want to share
Click Start Playback
The video appears for all participants
Supported Media
The media player supports video content from URLs. Typically supported:
- Direct video URLs (mp4, webm)
- Streaming platforms (depending on configuration)
- Embedded video content
URL requirements
The media must be accessible via a public URL. Private or authentication-required content may not play for all participants.
Playback Controls
During playback, the controller can:

| Play/Pause | Start or pause playback |
| Seek | Jump to a specific time |
| Stop | End the media session |
All participants see the video at the same point — playback is synchronized.
For Participants
When media is playing:
- The video appears in the main meeting area
- You can see and hear the content
- You cannot control playback (only Host, Co-Host, or Presenter can)
- Your audio and video continue to work normally

Use Media Player when:
- Sharing a specific video
- Quality and sync matter
- You want everyone to see the same frame
Use Screen Share when:
- Showing live demos
- Browsing content interactively
- Content isn't a simple video URL
Ending Playback
To stop the media player:
- Click Stop Playback in the media player controls
- The video closes for all participants
- The meeting returns to normal view
