Media Player
Share a video link and watch it during a meeting.
The external media player displays a shared media URL in the meeting. Use the available media-sharing action when your role and the meeting settings permit it, enter the URL, and start the media session.
Supported Content
The client recognizes common YouTube links and renders an embedded YouTube player. Other URLs are rendered in a browser video element. The source must be accessible to each participant, support browser playback, and allow embedding where applicable. A URL alone does not guarantee compatibility with every streaming platform.
Playback Is Local
Each participant uses their own playback controls to play, pause, and seek in the shared video.
Participants may need to press Play themselves. Browser autoplay rules, source availability, and network speed can produce different playback positions. Ask everyone to pause at an agreed point if you need to discuss the same moment, or use screen sharing with supported audio sharing.
Stop Sharing
Use the media-session stop action where available to remove the shared media from the meeting. Pausing a local player is not the same as ending the shared session.
