Recording
Record meetings for later playback, sharing, and reference.
Recording captures the meeting's audio, video, and shared content so you can review it later, share with those who couldn't attend, or keep for reference.

Recording Best Practices
Notify participants: Even though the system notifies, verbally confirm everyone knows they're being recorded.
Start early: Begin recording at the start to capture everything.
Check recording status: Periodically verify the recording indicator is active.
Plan for storage: Long recordings use more storage. Be mindful of your organization's allocation.
Review before sharing: Check the recording for any content that shouldn't be shared.
Privacy and Compliance
Recording consent
Depending on your location and organization policies, you may need explicit consent to record. Always ensure participants are aware and agree to being recorded.
Legal considerations:
- Some jurisdictions require all-party consent for recording
- Your organization may have policies about recording
- Sensitive content may have restrictions
Best practices:
- Announce recording at the start
- Give participants opportunity to object
- Don't record private conversations without consent
